CLIMATE CHANGE DOCUMENTARY

The incredible work of Am Shalom members Annie & Jim Goodman, and our Glencoe Community Garden, are featured in the documentary "The Power of Us: Confronting Our Climate Crisis," which airs on WTTW - Chicago PBS this Thursday at 10:30pm (tonight!). Read more about the film.

JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL

JCC Chicago will host a virtual version of the Jewish Film Festival! View 23+ films including Midwest and Chicago Premieres, as well as some festival favorites from the comfort of your own home. Film Festival runs Nov. 1 – 19 and tickets are on sale now. Click here for the full schedule.

PUMPKIN SMASH

Don't trash 'em - smash 'em! On Sunday, November 1, from 1:00-3:00pm, the Glencoe Community Garden will host its 3rd annual Pumpkin Smash. Mask up, and bring your pumpkins to the Garden to smash and compost. This will be messy, so dress accordingly! The Glencoe Community Garden is located at 380 Old Green Bay Road.
