Here's Rabbi Steve's two minute take on this week's Torah portion. Read more about Vayeishev.

TOGETHER WE CAN HELP

We cannot mask the need. From now until December 31st, all repeat donations to Am Shalom's Annual Challenge will be increased by 25%, and all NEW and INCREASED donations will be MATCHED! Donate Now

CELEBRATE CHANUKAH!

We're excited to share our unique menorah this year, which can be found along our Circle Drive. This special menorah has two functions: to spread light throughout the holiday, and to serve as collection bins for a holiday donation drive. Each bin/candle is tied to an item requested by eight partner organizations. The menorah is open for donations! Click here for info on what we're collecting.

SAVE THE DATE: CRAFTING FOR GROWN-UPS

Join us for a virtual candle making workshop! You'll receive a kit with everything you need to create a beautiful and fragrant candle. Grab your beverage of choice and we'll gather via ZOOM to learn how to do it together. Monday, December 21, 7:00pm • $18/kit • Space is limited! Registration is required.

CHANUKAH STORY TIYUL

Maybe you’ve heard Daveed Diggs sing about a puppy for Chanukah! Come by Am Shalom to read the story “A Horse for Hanukkah!” Our story tiyul will be up now through all of the holiday for your walking and reading enjoyment!
