DINNER WITH FRIENDS - BACK IN PERSON!

Make new friends or catch up with old ones at Dinner with Friends! We'll meet up at Back Yard Grill in Highland Park after the 6:30pm Outdoor Shabbat Service this Friday, July 23 for dinner, dessert and great conversation (around 8:00pm). All adults welcome. Dinner is $20pp. Payment will be made directly to the restaurant at the event. Please register so we can let them know how many to expect.

RACIAL JUSTICE CAMPAIGN LOBBY MEETINGS

Reform Jews as well as partners and allies from across the United States will meet virtually with their U.S. Senators July 26-August 6, as part of the Reform Movement's Racial Justice Campaign advocacy efforts in support of Freedom to Vote. During the meetings we will be advocating in support of the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM CONCERT

Join us in Perlmutter Courtyard on Sunday, July 25 at 4:00pm for... SHIR LaAHAVA, a musical melange of Love Songs in celebration of Tu B'Av - the Jewish Day of Love, featuring Cantor Andrea Rae Markowicz, Cantor Julie Staple, Orna Arania, and Kadi House, with guest artists, Cantor David Berger (KAMII) and Cantor David Goldstein (NSCI), accompanied by The Don Cagen Ensemble.

Concert is FREE and will be LIVESTREAMED via amshalom.com/livestream. Pre-REGISTER for limited "in person" seating.

BOOK OF LIFE

In May, all congregants received information and instructions about Am Shalom’s Book of Life and Memorial Plaques, which offer two ways to honor and memorialize loved ones who are no longer with us. If you are interested in purchasing a memorial plaque or including loved ones in the Book of Life, please complete and return the materials by July 26, 2021. You may also submit your information for the Book of Life online at https://www.amshalom.com/form/bol-2021.html and order a plaque at https://www.amshalom.com/form/memorial-plaque
