Field Trip: North Lawndale Bus Tour with Chicago Historian Dilla
Thursday, January 23, 2025 • 23 Tevet 5785
9:30 AM - 2:30 PMThe North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago is nothing short of amazing. It has a history that goes back well into the mid 1800s. Home of the original Sears Tower, North Lawndale has a legacy that includes a rich Jewish history, as well as a legacy left by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. himself.
Chicago historian Dilla, as he is affectionately called, is a fascinating blend of modern historian, cultural worker, and public employee. He lives by the saying that everything dope about America comes from Chicago.
$72pp includes tour and lunch
