What's for Dinner?

Monday, April 27, 2020 3 Iyar 5780

4:00 PM - 5:00 PMhttps://zoom.us/j/96733727811

Need some dinner inspiration? Join Rabbi Phyllis in her kitchen for a shakshuka cooking demo via Zoom!

If you'd like to cook along with Rabbi Phyllis, here's what you'll want to have on hand:

Canned tomatoes (Diced, chopped, whole)*
(Nice but not required: bell peppers, spinach - frozen works fine)
Onion
Garlic
Spices (oregano, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper - grab what you've got)
Eggs
Deep frying pan with a lid or an oven-safe frying pan (a well-seasoned cast iron pan is great)

*If you don't have any canned or fresh tomatoes, we can do this with a good marinara sauce from a jar. If you have a few fresh cherry tomatoes, they add interest to this method.
