This week, we're making kugel with Julie Stark and Rabbi Steve! Join them via Zoom link https://zoom.us/j/84915325318
Here's the recipe:
Ben and Noah’s Favorite Kugel
1 pkg extra wide noodles
1 1/2 sticks of butter or margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
4 large eggs
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tbl cinnamon
2 tsp of salt
Pre-heat oven to 350. Melt the butter and pour half into a bundt or tube pan. Swirl around the bottom and up the sides. Press the brown sugar into the buttered bottom. Press the pecans into the sugar.
Boil noodles in salted water and drain. Place back into pot and add remainder of melted butter, 4 eggs. Mix. Add sugar and cinnamon. Pour mixture into tube pan and bake for 40 min - 1 hour or until top is brown.
Let sit for 15 minutes, then remove onto plate.
