Required Bet Mitzvah Service Information

If you have not already, please log in at the top right hand corner of the page.
Please initial here.
Your best estimate.
Please include both adults and minors in your estimate.
Am Shalom will arrange chaperones from Mazel* Scheduling Services based on your total number of minors attending (minus siblings), regardless of whether their parents have been invited. Most of the time kids prefer to be with other kids and do not sit with their parents. This number can be modified as your RSVPs are tallied

Typically, one chaperone is required per every 20 minors. Am Shalom will charge you Mazel's fee which is $180 per chaperone*.

You are welcome to take photos at Am Shalom. Please reach out to Dana Poncher to secure the sanctuary for your family photos: danap@amshalom.com. Photo sessions must be reserved in advance. Photo sessions must stop 30 minutes prior to the start of the service. We permit photography and videography during the service, however, no augmented lighting nor flash may be used. Your photographer and/or videographer must work from the sides and/or back of the sanctuary only.

Am Shalom requires a current certificate of insurance from all vendors. It is your responsibility to make sure your photographer, videographer, and any other vendors provide this information to Leslie Nathan at LeslieN@amshalom.com. All vendors who will be working on premises are expected to adhere to our newly update policies and procedures, which can be found on the website.

Bet Mitzvah Day of Service Fees:

Am Shalom Day of Service Fund is a fee that families contribute to cover the cost of maintenance, set-up, turnover, decor, flower fund, Shabbat evening reception food, and more. Am Shalom provides building security for all bet mitzvah services and bet mitzvah families contribute to the Security Fund.

If you would like to discuss these funds please reach out to Zoe Sherman at zoes@amshalom.com
