Create a Jewish Legacy
What is your Am Shalom legacy?
In one way or another, your life is rooted in Jewish experiences connecting you to the Jewish community. By making a legacy commitment to Am Shalom—through your will or estate plan, or a gift to our endowment fund—you express values instilled in you by your parents, grandparents and loved ones, and you perpetuate the Jewish traditions that you cherish on to the next generation. Each of us, regardless of age or wealth, has the power to leave a legacy—one that fulfills our passions and dreams and also one that carries on the legacy of those who came before us.
By making a legacy commitment, you EXPRESS values instilled in you by your parents, grandparents, and loved ones and you PERPETUATE Jewish traditions you cherish on to the next generation. Each of us, regardless of age or wealth, has the power to leave a legacy—one that fulfills our passions and dreams, and also one that carries on the legacy of those who came before us.
As you consider your legacy, please consider the importance of Am Shalom to you and your family. Through the simple act of a planned gift, such as a bequest in a will or outright endowment donation, you can help to ensure that Am Shalom will have a vibrant and vital tomorrow.

Tell Us Your Story!
As part of our 50th Anniversary, Am Shalom wants to hear your family’s stories and special reasons for being a part of the Am Shalom community. Your story may be one from years past, it may be more about your vision for Am Shalom’s amazing future, or it might center around a favorite Am Shalom experience or High Holy Days memory for your family.
Whatever the story line, we hope you’ll share your stories.
Who better to help capture our congregation’s special stories than the Am Shalom Legacy Committee? Seasoned in interviewing, these avid listeners would very much like to hear your stories so they can become a vivid part of Am Shalom’s legacy for future generations.
Tell us your L’Dor Vador story. Contact Steve Doblin, Legacy Committee Chair, at sdoblin@yahoo.com.
Please note, we are collecting your Am Shalom stories to build a digital archive. Some stories - or bits and pieces of stories - may be shared on our website, in the KOL and/or in future marketing and development materials.
