Legacy Giving

Our lives are rooted in Jewish experiences that connect us to the Jewish community – past present and future. As part of your legacy, express the values instilled by your parents, grandparents and loved ones, honor the Jewish traditions you cherish and protect the future of Am Shalom for your family’s future generations. Your legacy commitment to Am Shalom – through your estate plan or will, or a cash gift today – does all of this and much more for so many. L’Dor Vador.

In addition to creating your Am Shalom legacy, many gifts also offer significant tax benefits—please consult your advisors to learn about these options:

  • Gift in Will/Estate Plan: Name Am Shalom as a beneficiary of a specific amount, percentage, or the remainder of your estate.
  • Life Insurance: Name Am Shalom as the beneficiary or owner of a new or existing life insurance policy.
  • Retirement Assets: Designate Am Shalom as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other retirement account—an easy and tax-wise way to give.
  • Donor-Advised Fund: Recommend grants during your lifetime and name Am Shalom as the successor beneficiary of your fund.
  • Gifts of Appreciated Assets
  • Life Income Gifts: Establish a Charitable Gift Annuity or Trust that provides income for life, with the remainder supporting Am Shalom.
